About Me

My photo
Katmom
I was born in Stuttgart Germany of a German mom and American dad. I Grew up on Military bases & loved it. I graduated from Newbury Park High School in 1972 & married my High School sweetheart in Nov. 1972. Now after 35 years of a great life & marriage we, our daughter & S.I.L are planning a change of life & will be moving to the N.W. side of Spokane Washington this year if all goes according to plan. I was a SAHM for awhile but then when our daughter started school I went back to College to get certified so I could teach pre-school which I did for 10 years. Then I decided it was time to think about the future & retirement so I took a job with the County Sheriff's Department. I worked in the county jail or "In-take & Storage" as we called it LOL! Fortunatly I advanced to an administrative position and then 5 years ago I tansferred to the Crime Prevention Unit, where I am currently assigned until I retire in July 2007. Wahoooo! Which brings me to today...Oh Happy Day...
