Mini Aprons... just because...

I am currently in several mini apron swaps,,, so here are a few of the ones I have made...

 a couple of mini bib aprons...

 I had a wee scrap of this wild animal print... and just had to make a mini with it!(for me)

 a couple of 1/2 aprons for fun...

 what's this you ask?????

why it is a 'mini clothes pin bag... filled with mini clothes pins... lol!

I had a damaged piece of stitched linen and it worked out perfect for this project.

 

Keeping Myself Busy...

With all this rain,,, I have been spending more time in my craft/sewing room..

This is what I made...

 I have made 2 aprons using the 1/2 quilt size pattern.... the colors are more vibrant, but my flash wasn't working... uuggh!

 everything assembled...

 and done!!!!!

I wasn't too fond of the neck line and all the Bias Tape trim so I modified the pattern to a more rounded neckline and  no Bias Tape... Instead I lined the apron and made criss-crossing straps(ties)... much more to my liking,  The pattern is from "Indygo Junction"...

 

Well,,, now what mischief should I get into???

Rain, Dogs and Sewing...

Good stars! we have had so much rain these past few months... and this past week even more!!!

 Our neighbors driveway flooded and then flowed onto our property...

 the back side of our property was under water...

 our 'creek' was flowing like crazy...

creating a pond on the lower end of our property!

our  mamamoo kitty was smart and stayed in the garage...

 Ginger thinks she is a 'water dog'...lol!

 I made a few mini aprons for a swap I am in,,, and then today I made this little ...

 

soda bottle apron....

Well, today we got a break in the weather,,, but... rain is headed back our way... oh joy!!!
