Metal Lamp Shade...

I spotted a rather sad looking metal lamp shade at a local Thrift... so I just had to buy it and bring it home,,, and yes, Gary's comment was,,, "Why?"... but if you know mw... you know,, I'll re-purpose anything after all,,, "spray paint is my friend!"...  lol!
So I cleaned it up, primered it and spray painted it... now I have a Cool cake cover!  

 don't you just love the red and gold? I sure do!

The top has a gazillion little holes,, flies cant get in and the cake or what ever won't sweat...
This lamp shade was very Early American in style... and now it's just cute!
