Junktiquing Again...

Hubby and I went to an Estate sale on Sunday... where I spotted 2 sweet vintage hand stitched quilts. I wanted them both but the price tag was such that I decided to let someone else fall in love with them... Well I got an email later that night saying the price had been reduced... yep,, I drove back on Monday and bought them both.
One is a twin size and the other is a Full size.
The 'scrappy' quilt has so many itty bitty pieces of fabric... and I love them.
Both, based on the fabric prints and colors are anywhere from 1940-50's... I will research them more to see if I can narrow down the time frame.
I wish I knew the history of the quilts... who the quilter was,,, where/how she came about the fabric.
Each quilt has a story... many untold,,, while others are family Heirlooms...
love the fun prints and colors...
these was the asking price... not what I paid.
the white pieces were actually very faded yellow prints...
this one is a full size quilt.
some of the fabric is faded... but I still love these.
some of the pieces are the size of a quarter...
I also scored some sweet hand stitched tea towels... Kitties ofcource!
 aren't these cute!
love the kitties...
all the tea towels have some stains,,, which means they were used and loved... as they should be.
On the next warm sunny day I will hand wash and dry these out on the lawn.... they will go out in my Trailer....
