8 Straight Days of Snow..

1 comment:
Oh joy,,, we pretty much were having a mild Winter,,, when Mother Nature reared her ugly head this past week.....
We went from an occasional mild snow.. but.. we are making up for it now!
hubby spotted this idea on the internet,,, which works great for a light fluffy snow...
he had the sidewalk and driveway apron cleared in 5min with out breaking a sweat...
but had to get on the Quad to move the snow down the driveway to the road.

Guess it's time to go play in my craft room.

Sunny day and Quails...

No comments:
It has been pretty much dreary outside these past few days... but today the Sun poked it's head out and so did the Quail!
Even our little kitty, "KeeKee"  has a front row seat....
Hope you are having a Sunny Day!

A Thrift Find and Mini Aprons...

1 comment:
Well now that Christmas is past I have tucked away my little Christmas mini Aprons and put out a few Valentines ones for Feburary...

While in Palm Springs, I visited several Thrift Shops and lookie what I found.. a lovely Husquverna  sewing machine,, in near new condition... and it sews like a dream... I used it to make my little Flamingo table runner... I am 'sew' delighted!
I am looking forward to spending my time in my sewing room....

Keeping Busy...

After returning from a 3week trip to California, to escape the Cold Spokane Winter...
I had a few days before my grand kiddos spent the next 4 days with us... so, or should I say, 'sew'... this is what I stitched up... I freehanded the design, and used nearly every square inch of the fabrics I bought...
I only spent $4.30 on the fabric to make this cute little table runner,,, which is a Maryjane Farm project/challenge (due in May)..
I found in my stash, just enough Ball Fringe to add to the edges...
as for the backside, I was 3" shy so I spliced in a small piece of the pink fabric.. works for me!
This will end up out in my little vintage trailer along with all my other Flamingo deco!
