Lewd Spam...

UUGH! I am sooo tired of all the lewd, vulgar spam I am still getting... thank goodness I see the 'reply' and am able to mark them as Spam and then delete them.. So tired of it.. Why can't people be respectful ...... I still can't figure out how to contact Blogger and let them know... Oh well,, for now I will continue deleting them to the Spam box.

Mama and Me...

My sweet mother never loses her smile, no matter what.. Mama had a major stroke (Ischemic) January 2018... sadly her ability to speak and get around has diminished greatly. But in spite of it all,, she still smiles...

mama is now 86 years old... but in my heart she will always be young...

I am blessed for every day she is with us...

German Girl...

I channeled my inner German Girl... and made a yummy, or as we say, Lecker German dinner... Spetzle, Knodel and pork loin Goulash.. While the goulash and spetzle was home made from scratch,(I even used fresh onions, and bell peppers from my garden) I cheated on the Knodels, and used a box mix..

I made enough for dinner and lunch the next day.. every now and then I need German Soul Food Fix...

More work around the property...

Well,,we are still up to our eyeballs in work around here...... got our new re-routed driveway in..

and go figure,, our ride on lawn tractor once again is in the shop for repairs, 3rd time in 2 1/2 years.. not a Happy Camper.. so,, after dropping the tractor off at the Dealership for repairs,, we had to stop off at Lowes to get some more cement caulking... as hubby is exiting the store he spots this....

yep, it followed us home and hubby used it right away... he loves it... Now all we have left on our "To-Do' list for 2020,,, haha,, is move the mail box over to our new entrance, finish up with the 'wishing well' and the bird house condo... among a few other small projects.. We may be entering our Golden years,, but we have way to many projects to be a couple of old slugs... lol!

Fresh Lavender Square Wreath

I had some time to waste today,, and a sack full of fresh, late pruned lavender, so I remembered I had a square wire wreath that was out in my stash of craft supplies.. So I wired on some of the lavender.. and hung it on the door... It smells wonderful, as does the house....and my hands ...lol! One can never have enough lavender...

I still have not figured out the new blogging format.. so for now,, this is the best I can do..
