In a Nut Shell....

I can't believe  it's July already... Yikes!  May and June are just a blurrr....
In a nut shell here are s few projects,,, some are still UFO's,, that I have been working on...
 found this lovely Mid-century dress....$2.50,,, thank you very much!
 made 2 aprons for a friend using a vintage hand stitched table cloth...
 found these 2 vtg. Avon lipstick tubes,,, the kind that you re-filled....
 went Glamping....
 learned how to make a slushy Whiskey Sour... Yum!
 Fount this S&H Green Stamps booklet at a Flea Market....
 found 2 brassy light fixtures to re-purpose...
 (currently UFO projects)... lol!
 but wait,,, there is more!  lol!...
 found this 1948 button card in the vtg. sewing desk (below)...
 bought this sewing machine/craft tote at a local Thrift for $6.99
 got this sewing desk for free,,, and the drawers were filled with koolieo stuff, like the button card shown above... (desk is now a UFO)...
made this cute apron for a friend....
 up-cycled sewing desk project coming along... now for paint... and new hardware...
 light fixtures are painted, I have the solar lights ready to decorated and then attached to the light fixtures...
and now for a wee bit of silly me time! before I start packing and head back to Washington State to see my grand-kiddos as well as do some Glamping with friends and as always,,, a lot of Junktiquing...

Bunting Time...

Old jeans, bits of fabric scraps and yoyos and trims...
and of course having an embroidery machine helps too!
Shabby Chic meets country rustic...

an old tattered table cloth, broken jewelery, more bits-n-pieces of lace...and the backside is burlap!
What's more trailer cute then embroidered trailers and Flamingos....

This one is on it's way to my childhood best friend in Germany...
and customizing the flags makes it even more fun to give...
Hmmm, I think I need to make a few more.....
