Today was one of those lazy dazes... you know the type,,, no pending projects, just a tad to cool to work outside and the sun is behind the clouds..
So while Hubby was tinkering on the truck I pulled out my Wool/felt craft sewing basket...
Several hours later,,, Voila! a sweet 'stacking dolls' candle cozy...
pieces cut , assembled and starting to sew....
almost finished...
trimmed, decorated with itty bitty yo-yo flowers and tiny buttons.....
TaDa! ready to send to a very special friend...
My dear friend is of Russian/German heritage. Her family came to America via Canada back at the turn of the century...and they are 1 of the 3 first original families to settle in the West Plains area of Spokane, known today as Airway Heights.
Some of the wool fabric is from some of my old wool clothing.. so I'll be a part of her family.
Really cute idea! Turned out so special she will love it!
