Oh what fun one can have with re-purposing a cast off pair of denim jeans...
Several years ago I cut and stitched up 20 denim stocking (like the kind you hang for Santa over the fireplace)... All were done in a western theme...
Last year I took a jean pocket and turned it into a little shoulder tote, Just big enough for my cell phone, lipstick, drivers Lic., and some cash...
And today I re-purposed another pair of jeans into a BoHo tote/purse...this one is for me! The one I made several weeks ago I made for my grand~girlie.
Here are the 2 for my grand~girlies....(now stuffed with Barbie doll clothes)....
I made the darker on one the left.... but the lighter one on the right, I found at a Thrift Shop for $2 so I changed out the straps that were on it and added the handles..
Both grand~girlies are happy...
For me,,, I made this one....the fabric is hard to see, but it is Hawaiian floral in purples, peach and greens...
the pockets are perfect for sunglasses and cell phone...
I made the ties/straps long so I can lengthen or shorten the shoulder straps...
I lined the purse and added a cute belt buckle to the front...
and this is the lil purse/tote I made from a Jeans pocket.... the nice thing is the front pocket buttons closed. I stitched on a piece of denim on the back to drop in my cell phone or sun glasses...
