Vacation....

I will be away from my computer on Sept.5 thru the 7th
Once again I will be hitting the trails, but this time with out my trailer,,,,I will be traveling the Bitterroot mountains, old Lewis & Clark trails by horse back and tent with 7 fab-u-los ladies who, like me, have a spirit for adventure. We will be out of range of cell, internet and indoor plumbing.... just experienceing God's beautiful creation.
Hubby is home holding down the Fort & taking care of our kitties and keeping everything watered.
I'll tell you all about my adventures when I return.

Grapes, Peanut Bags,Pillow and Hammock!

 Wahooo! the beginnings of my Wine Empire! lol!, ok, maybe not an Empire, or even a bottle of wine,,, but finally one of my 3 grape vines produced grapes this year! Now to get to them before the birds do! lol!

 At a recent yard sale I scooped up 4 peanut burlap sacks... for 10cents each! Score! Now to get creative  and come up with a super crafting idea for them. (besides deco pillows) lol!

 I finally got around to making aother pillow out of a cast off Pendleton wool lap blanket...so what do you think?

 This is the back side,,, I had just enough faux tooled leather fabric to complete the pillow backing.

OK, I know I have been snacking a lot lately,,, but Seriously!?!  Imagine my surprise while sitting in my hammock, watching my little Peek-a-boo kitty chase after 'hoppers' (grasshoppers)... I heard a funny sound and next thing I knew, my bottom was on the ground! ...Guess it's time to pull out the old "Slim-fast"... lol!

Don't you love a colorful bounty? Tomatoes, Sweet peppers, Bell peppers and Snow peas...
Oh and Dahlias..... Oh My Word! I have grown Dahlias...for the first time and I Love them!
I love going out and picking a couple of Dahlias each day, they just brighten up the kitchen...
Well off to go make some more Freezer Salsa.

Sweet Surprise...

Oh my word!  what a sweet surprise!  My dear friend, Sherry stopped by yesterday and look what she brought me....and yep, she made the birdhouse! I Luv It!  Thank you Sherry... that was 'so tweet' of you!   I luv the mug too! I have re-potted the 'Hens-n-Chicks' and washed the mug. It will go in my trailer!   :>)
