In My Sewing Room.

How cute is this? Mig was given this sweet white deco pillow and she decided it needed to be "trailerized" and with in 30min the sweet white pillow became a cute deco pillow for her trailer.
Rene' and her son, Cole, popped in for a visit while we were having a crafting~sew fest.
One thing I love about my sewing room,,, there is plenty of room for creativity... (L to R... Karen, Cole, Cori, Rene & Mig)
I stitched up this little trailer deco pillow for my friend, Cori... then I used my Bernina Embroidery machine to stitch her name and 'Sister on the Fly' number.  I think it turned out cute.
I found the sweet vintage aluminum tray to which I spray painted blue to match Cori's trailer deco colors,,,Blue & Brown. I love it when creativity abounds!

Mix it Up!

It's all Juli's fault... she got me hooked on stitchery.... I finished this little 'towel'... now to decide what to do with it... leave it as a towel, or make it into a banner, or a pillow or maybe an apron... decisions decisions...

Read the Fine Print!

6 comments:
Ok, I should have read the fine print.... I saw this book on a local auction website... and yes it said "Big Horse Book"... but I thought 'big' as in the kind you would put on a coffee table... not make a coffee table out of! Gary thought it was hysterical and offered to attach legs to the book... (make mental note...next time...read the fine print!).

OOPS! Another One!

Ok, I know I said (awhile back) I was not going to buy anymore vintage sewing machines.... butttt......

It's all Gary's fault! haha! While out and about we stopped off at the local Goodwill store,,,Lo and behold Gary spotted this Singer 403A... and well as you can guess... it is now in my collection of over 2 dozen machines. But here is the kicker.... $14.95 yep! and it works wonderful... It sews smoothly... and I love the vintage '60's cabinet. Now I have 2 Singer 403A machines in my collection. I am on the look out for a Singer 319 and then I can put my sewing machine addiction to rest! Maybe! lol!

I finished up this kool mono-chromatic rag rug in black/grey & white. It actually turned out better then I expected. I enjoy crocheting these...you just never know how they will turn out.
