Seahawk Fever....

Ok, my darling hubby has Seattle Seahawk on the brain ....

Our daughter sent 'dad' a mini tree with lots of cute Seahawk deco...

Now mind you,,, normally hubby doesn't do 'tree decorating'... but....

HoHoHo!!!!

 

 

Sew, Sew, Sew.... HoHoHo!

I took advantage of the foul weather,,, and hubby watching Football,, to get some sewing in...

 I dug through my YoYo stash and made these 2 lil snow peeps...

 made a couple of yoyo trees....

 this lil button is so perfect,,, my Peek-a-boo kitty....

 made a wool felt padded 3-sided heart...

and then 'Lucy' my Feather Weight sewing machine and I sis a lil stitchin'....

 I made this 'hot pad' using "insul-lite" batting so I can use this as a Hot Pad or for a vase/candle cozy...

I like how it turned out, and so easy peasy....

Ok,,, so I am NOT a fan of football, baseball, golf or pretty much any sport that requires a spherical object! lol!
But Hubby is a big sports fan and with that said,,, we are a match made in Heaven... he gets to watch all his favorite sports games on TV and I get to spend the day crafting away in my sewing/craft room..  Yep, It's a Win-Win for everybody!

I even stitched up a Seahawk's pillow case and flees  blankie... he will be so comfy watching his team tomorrow....  Yes,, I am a wonderful wifey.... lol!

New Computer and Other Headaches!

OK,,, about a year ago we updated my old computer with Windows8 to the new Windows 10 program... well that created all kinds of issues for me including not being able to post on my Blog... so after about a week of hair pulling craziness I removed Windows 10 and returned to Windows 8... Well here I am, a year later and an old computer that was having way to many age related hic-ups,,, yesterday, I got a new computer that came with Windows 10... so lets hope all the bugs have been worked out and that I will be able to post on my Blogs... Got my eyes, legs and fingers crossed! lol!

Christmas Crafting...

I have been keeping busy Christmas crafting...
Today I went to the Post... dang, so far I have spent close to $100 in postage mailing out packages to family and friends,,, Yep, for once I am ahead of schedule! HoHoHo!

I just finished up another Boot Bracelets and some ribbon Angel ornaments...
I can't post pics of the other goodies as some of the recipients are readers of my blog.

 these lil Angels are easy peasy to make...

 I love making Boot Bracelets from repurposed fashion jewelery.

Now to get to work on some cashmere scarves from recycled cashmere sweaters...
