Aprons are poping up everywhere...

Aprons are popping up everywhere in my sewing room..

I was able to get 3 more completed yesterday...

Sewing is great therapy...

 got to use up some fabric scraps from the cobbler aprons that I stitched up...

 I make really long ties and embellish with yoyos....

 I love being able to use up fabric bits...

I used 3 different fabrics to make this full/wide pocketed apron...with a hankie pocket on the large pocket...

I also finished up another cobbler apron and 2 repurposed aprons last week...

 my cobbler apron,,, luv the full pockets...

 I made this sweet hostess apron from a pair of sheer cafe' curtains...

and this fun one use to be a pillow case...

Gotta love repurposing....

House -4- Sale

Well it is official,,, we have put our house on the market for sale...

We have decided we miss our grandbabies way to much... to stay here.

We have 2 plans in operation but for now will focus on Plan-A... 

Stay tuned..... heeheehee!

In the mean time I may be a bit MIA from my blog until Plan-A unfolds...

 

Mini Aprons...

Here are a few of the Mini Apron swap aprons that we made..

We are a group of about 10,,,, we each make 10 minis and end up with 9 plus ours...

 such cutie phatooties...

We did Red White & Blue Patriotic ones and just finished an animal themed swap.. sorry, forgot to take photos....

Minis are fun....

'Sew' many projects

'Sew' many projects have kept me busy and off the computer...

 I made a couple of 'Cobbler' style aprons, this on and a black one (below)

 made this apron from a pillow casde...

 got hooked on making jean butt bags,,, I made a total of 6 of them,,, 5 as gifts and 1 for me

 this bag I made from a little girls denim skirt...

 this is the one I made for myself,, the label on the jeans is "Grace"..

 I helped my friend host her Tea Party for our locally Auxillary club meeting...

 another apron I made,, but this time from a kitchen cafe' curtain.

 this is also a cobbler apron, the back side.

my recent 'altered art' project,,, a little 'keep sake' book, made from a used pattern envelope.

Plus I have been participating in "min I apron swaps'',,, 5 so far...

I now have enough mini aprons to make a cute mini apron banner....

 

Now to go play in my craft room... I am sure there is more mischief that awaits me!

 

Aother Visitor...

Harry the Heron is back for a visit,,, usually it's for the 'frog feast',,,.

 but today Harry totally surprised me...

 when....

he caught a mouse... I had no idea they at rodents... and where was my mouser cat you ask???.. oh she was fast asleep on her bed....
