Update on Laundry Detergent

It WORKS!
I tried using the d-terg in both dry & in liquid form,,,, when I use it as a powder I can toss it in to the drum with the clothes or I can pull out the soap holding/dispenser tray thingy and put it in...but I think my favorite way is to dilute the d-terg with a 1/2 cup of water & pour it in.
The laundry comes out clean (no odors or froofroo scents) and my whites look really clean...which means I'll be using a whole lot less bleach! wahooo!
Now if only I could find an easier way to clean the toilet bowl! lol!

  1. I've been making my own detergent for awhile now and it really saves money. I sue white vinegar for a softner and my towels are so much more absorbent and clean smelling clthes and I swear the colors are brighter without all that "gunk" clogging the fabric fibers! LOL!
Where did you get that darling radio in the last post picture? I love it!!! Is that vintage or a repro? If it's a repro maybe I can get me one? Oh...I'm waiting with bated breath!!!! Speaking of laundry, I need to go hang a load outside. TTYL!
